10th Annual Motor Reliability Conference “Are You in the Motor Zone? Keys to Mastering the Six Motor Fault Zones.”

The 10th Annual Motor Reliability Conference was again a big success. The two-day informative motor testing conference was held at the beautiful Hilton Resort on Clearwater Beach, Florida. Attendees came from all over the world and represented numerous industries including utilities, petro-chemical, pulp and paper, motor service and repair facilities, steel and aluminum, government, aerospace, automotive, and manufacturing.

The theme of this year’s conference "Are you in the Motor Zone? Keys to Mastering the Six Motor Fault Zones" focused on the six motor fault zones and predicting motor failures. The conference showcased the MCEmax and how it utilizes a unique approach to breakdown a motor into six easy to understand fault zones.

A welcome reception Tuesday night kicked off the  conference. Attendees enjoyed cool refreshments and tasty hors d’oeuvres, while leisurely browsing the numerous product demonstration tables. Of special interest was the demonstration of a wireless tester using RECON software. The reception provided a excellent opportunity for customers to get to know the engineers and programmers behind the development of the MCEmax and RECON products and mingle with their peers to share experiences, stories, and techniques that each are currently using in the field. In honor of PdMA’s tenth anniversary, drawings were held for items representative of each year that PdMA has been in business. The final drawing was a certificate good for a television won by Roy Huff of Snell Thermal Inspections.
