Data Analysis for MCE or Data
Analysis for EMAX
A two-day course
featuring a MCEGold™ refresher and in-depth discussion of electrical fault
zones and case studies.
Focus in on the
motor circuit fault zones and review of test data as it applies to
monitoring motor health and finding existing faults.
Students will
discuss failure mechanisms, testing methods, monitoring techniques, and
review test results for each fault zone.
The various MCE and
Emax tests will be discussed
in depth.
Discussions that
ensue typically include topics such as: motor types, motor theory as it
applies to testing, testing frequency, trending techniques, specialty
applications, etc.
Throughout the
course student will dissect numerous case studies, using a variety of motor
types and define troubleshooting techniques.
Customer's database
will be reviewed.
The second day will
be customized to each customer's individual needs. This may include field testing,
additional data review of both.

Tampa or
customer site (on-site training requires customer to pay
instructor travel and living expenses, billed at cost)
Prerequisites:
Completion of an introductory course and a minimum of 6 months of
hands-on experience using the MCE or EMAX
tester
